Songs of Kyiv’s Romani Theatre

In this vocal workshop, educator and musician Dr. Petra Gelbart will look to Kyiv’s legendary Romani theatre ensemble for a selection of folk and stage songs in Romani, a language that originated in India – the motherland of all Roma. Participants will sing together in the centuries-old Romani choral tradition. $15 adults, $10 students & seniors, children free.
